CAMBODIA: YOUTH PROGRAMME
Type of Tour Products: Adventure in combination with nature based tourism
A) Phnom Penh - Ratanakiri - Phnom Penh
Day 01:
Phnom Penh/Banlung (Ratanakiri): to discover the surrounding waterfalls (Teuk
Cha Ong, Okatchange).
Day 02-03:
Banlung/Virachey National Park (Trekking Tours): Drive to Voen Sal and get a
boat to Virachey National Park (the best park with the real jungle and it is
unexplored park in Cambodia), Meet by park's ranger and walk to the national
park. Settle for a night to sleep with a hammock, which have the mosquito net
to protect the insects (Overnight in the park).
Day 04:
Virachey National Park/Kroeung Territory/Banlung Drive towards Laos and the
village of Taveng. Go through the curious extent of volcanic rocks of Veyrum
Pang: a lava fleid in the forest with a small waterfall nearby (wet season only)
and the tiger cave, Before reaching Taveng, cross-different types of landscapes;
primary forest, clear forest, bamboo forest and "African" bush. Stop in a few
nice Kroeung villages located quite far away in the forest. See the typical
bachelor houses standing on very long bamboo poles, which are destroyed when
the young man gets married.
Day 05:
Banlung/Phnom Penh Free at on leisure until the time transfer to Ratanakiri
Airport for departure to Phnom Penh.
Days: 5days/4nights

B) Nights in Ratanakiri
Day 01:
Drive by pick up to discover the surrounding waterfalls (Teuk Cha Ong, Okatchang),
and Visit Kanseng lake and Yeak Laom Lake. Return to Banlung and Dinner.
Day 02:
Transfer to visit the one-day trip to this remote area takes you through beautiful
forest a long a not too good dirt road. The destination is the biggest waterfall
in this province. It cascades down in seven parts; hence the name Seven step
waterfall. On route we will visit some Tampuan and Jaral Village that still
have their longhouses. On the way back we can visit the gem mining area.
Day 03:
Free at own leisure until transfer to Ratanakiri Airport for departure to Phnom
Penh
Days: 3days/2nights
